What Are
By far the most popular injectable treatment, neurotoxins like Botox or Dysport work by blocking nerve impulses to your muscles, causing them to relax. Primarily used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles (e.g. on your forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet or laugh lines), Botox and Dysport can also treat conditions such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), chronic migraines, TMJ, or neck spasms (cervical dystonia).
Prior to your Botox or Dysport treatment, we will analyze your facial movements to determine where and how much to inject. This is important because everyone’s muscles pull differently. Both Botox and Dysport are FDA-approved and have virtually no side effects. You will notice the first effects within a few days of your treatment with the full results showing two weeks later.

Some patients report seeing faster results with Dysport (within 3 days). In addition, we have found that for some patients Dysport tends to last a little longer.
Botox & Dysport for Hyperhidrosis
